Individual Counseling
Do you suffer from depression (chronic sadness, feeling hopeless, inability to enjoy life)? Perhaps you are feeling anxious (tense, jittery, unable to relax)? Mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar depression, and anxiety, are common and counseling can help.
Life events such as losing a loved one through death or divorce, a move, children moving away from home, the end of a relationship create a grief reaction which is normal. Sometimes, the normal grieving process is complicated by multiple, ungrieved losses, conflicted relationships, and/or mental illness. All loss sets in motion a transition which can be very difficult to navigate. Counseling can help you sort through these difficult life transitions and regain your footing.
Individual counseling is generally most effective on a weekly basis, with regular one-hour sessions, although we can discuss how to best meet your needs.
